A Message from CTAA President Andy Lund...

Dear Prospective Member,

On behalf of the members and leadership of the Connecticut Apartment Association (CTAA), I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about our organization.

We are a state chapter of the National Apartment Association (NAA), dedicated to serving the interests of Connecticut apartment owners and managers. The CTAA seeks to monitor and lead state legislative efforts, offer educational and networking sessions, distribute informational newsletters and magazines, and create networking opportunities for its members.  The organization is comprised of owners and managers of multifamily rental properties and other individuals who provide services related to the multifamily housing industry.

The goals and objectives of the CTAA are designed to advance and advocate for the apartment industry in Connecticut.

  • CTAA represents the interests of the Connecticut apartment industry before the Connecticut General Assembly and other regulatory agencies through the services of a highly-skilled lobbying team.

  • CTAA is committed to providing seminars and other educational opportunities that enhance and promote professions related to the multifamily housing industry such as maintenance, leasing and management.   We offer several different educational seminars and networking events throughout the year.

  • CTAA enables its members to share best practices, pertinent experiences and advance their careers and interests.

  • CTAA member’s interests are served on a national level through our affiliation with the National Apartment Association (NAA).  As a member of the CTAA you also automatically become a member of the NAA.

  • CTAA members have optional access to exclusive products such as the online lease forms offered by Blue Moon Software that are designed to let you quickly fill out all of the official Connecticut Lease Forms.

  • CTAA members enjoy discounted rates for all educational and social programming, as well as discounted booths at our annual tradeshow.

  • Through the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI), CTAA members can take over 40 courses, 24 hours a day, from the comfort of their home or office.  Each online course is worth Continuing Education Credits (CECs) that can be used towards NAAEI designations.

I hope that I have answered any questions that you may have, but please feel free to call the CTAA at (860) 722.9922 if there is additional information we can provide you with.  I look forward to welcoming you as a CTAA member.
